Carneros, with its uniquely austere soil profiles and marine influence offers advantages of a distinctly different nature. In the 7 mile Carneros radius
surrounding our winery, the region has a longer growing and ripening season, leading to pure varietal flavors. Grapes here carry an acidity that helps hold a strong fruit structure.
Our winemaking philosophy is one of loyalty to our vineyards and growers. Our growers farm some of the finest grapes in our surrounding valleys. Our job, simply, is to usher this amazing fruit into wine with as little interference as possible.
