Our Winery

Founded in 2003, Highway 12 Winery was inspired by our many generations of predecessors, their vision and their pioneering spirit. The wines of Highway 12, from the Sonoma Coast to the Sierra Foothills, are rooted in this heritage and serve proudly as world class examples of the vintners’ art.

Our wines feature the Sonoma Valley and Carneros appellations. These growing regions comprise our “neighborhood” and carry a special meaning for us. Our grower-partners are all friends who share our pride in this region.

Our Philosophy

Like anything gathered from a natural source, we see wine as a gift. You can’t pick a bottle from a vine but the grapes and the natural process that create wine are certainly gifts that have been recognized and utilized for thousands of years.

The world has grown complex and the simple processes have become entwined with the complexity. But wine, at its heart, remains a simple and sacred process that creates one of mankind’s most treasured liquids.

Our philosophy, simply put, is to serve and preserve this process and be a valued part of this ancient tradition.
